![]() They deliver some funny lines although not everyone of them hit. The turtles are the best part of this movie. I grew up on that and the 80's cartoon and 1990's movies. A darker take but still humorous and likable. I want them to reflect how they were in the 2003 cartoon preferably. ![]() I wanted simply one thing from this movie after all the crap I've seen from it over the last few years. From there they must work together and stop Shredder from releasing a toxin on the city. ![]() The turtles stop her and return to their master who says they need April's help. She then witnesses the turtles stop them and follows them to get evidence of their existence. From there we meet April (Megan Fox) who's trying to get a story about the evil foot clan that have been terrorizing the city. So the movie opens up in sort of a graphic novel type animation telling the story of the turtles which I'll admit was a nice nod to the original source material from which Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles came from. 4 mutated turtles grow up in the sewer raised by a giant rat who knows martial arts and trains them so they can protect the city from Shredder. Directed by Jonathan Liebesman for some reason and produced by Michael Bay, also for some reason. Both the clients and the staff deserve better. Here we go So Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is the reboot to the ever so popular Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. I think the staff are either severely undertrained or severely overbooked. (I want to add that the host was very professional with everyone at all times even as he clearly realized he was screwing up. But as a parent, I would NOT wish to go through this experience again. The icecream cake was fine - children mostly enjoyed it.Īs I said, the party was a success after all, because the children had fun bowling and running wild among the arcade machines. I had to clean up the table myself to make it half-presentable. When we arrived, all the dirty napkins and food bits were still on the table, and "everthing was ready" meant a stack of plates (the top one was visibly dirty) and a bucket with little white plastic spoons. After the kids played some more, the host invited us back to the table for the cake, stating that everything was ready. The table promised to us at the start was given to another party and we were moved to a largely undecorated table in the middle of everything (pool tables, adults bowling and drinking). The food for the parents was late the food for the kids was mixed up. He had to clean the place himself to make it presentable. ![]() When my husband arrived at the bowling lanes, there were used drink cups and pitchers from previous customers. Our host pointed us to the bowling lanes and disappeared for half an hour (only to reappear for a few seconds at a time at 20 min or so intervals). When I was booking, I was told that Kingpin held parties for young children all the time that there would be a host accompanying the kids at all times, helping them with the bowling, etc., and that the table for the birthday meal would be decorated. The guest parents had to watch their kids at all times as the place was overrun by adults and older kids and it was easy to lose sight of our 6-7 year old children. ![]() The place is completely disorganized and the experience for me as a hosting parent was really stressful. The kids had fun - that's why 3 stars not 1 - but the adults, to say the least, did not. Held a birthday party for my six year old son at Kingpin. ![]()
